A raised asphalt/boardwalk nature trail
winds through the wetland woods adjacent to the visitor center
in two .4 mile loops. A trail guide, "Wetland Connections,"
gives natural history information related to the plants and animals
of the refuge. There is a spur trail that leads to the wildlife
pier which, if included, makes the trail one mile long.
