LEAP and iLEAP Review

Louisiana PASS and Newton's Classroom

The Louisiana Practice Assessment/Strengthen Skills (PASS) system allows students to practice skills that are similar to those on the LEAP, GEE, and iLEAP and provides instruction to help strengthen those skills. PASS includes multiple-choice, short-answer, and essay questions. Newton's Classroom allows students to learn new math concepts and skills by working through hands-on activities and animations.

Leap & GEE Help Center

The Help Center gives access to many programs that provide both students and parents with questions and online tutorials for each exam.

Dare to Compare

Dare to Compare is part of the the National Center for Education Statistics' Kids' Zone. There are practice questions for 4th, 8th and 9th grades in Math, Science and Social Studies.

Charlie French has LEAP practice tests for 4th and 8th grades.

Making the Grade LEAP 21

LEAP 21: Making the Grade is a joint effort between LPB and the Louisiana State Department of Education to help students prepare for the Math and Language Arts sections of the LEAP test. There are 15 segments each for 4th and 8th grade Math and Language Arts based upon the tutoring guide developed by the Louisiana Department of Education.

Practice Tests show what each part, or session, of the real LEAP / GEE is like. Practice Tests look similar to the real tests.
Practice Tests may be used at home or at school to become familiar with what the real test is like. These can help students feel more relaxed when they take the real test.

Space Science Group's Practice Run

Do you need help preparing for the 4th grade or 8th grade LEAP 21 or the 10th grade GEE 21 Test? The Space Science Group at Northwestern State University has developed a software program called Practice Run to serve this purpose in the areas of math and science. Practice Run is provided as a free service to all users.
