Monroe City Schools believes that everyone surrounding a child has an impact on that child, and the district values parents as a critical part of the education process. Only when parents, teachers, and community members work together as a team can a child truly become an educated, productive member of society.

Parents as Volunteers
Like to read books to children? Like to help monitor hallways? Can you answer a telephone? There is a place for YOU! Each Monroe City school is staffed by a complete, competent group of people who chose to be in education and have accepted the job of teaching children with excitement and dedication. However, there is always room for parents in the educational process. Please contact the school about ways to become involved. Endless volunteer opportunities await you in Monroe City Schools!
