The Certification Specialist in the Human Resources Division works with teachers in obtaining initial certificates, Practitioner Licenses and renewing certificates with the State Department of Education. Assistance is provided in determining the Highly Qualified requirements.
Teachers are encouraged to apply for National Board Certification. Teachers successful in this endeavor will receive an annual supplement of $5000.00. The Human Resource Department will notify teachers when recruitment efforts are initiated by the State Department of Education.
