After getting off to a shaky, cool start, the 2005-2006 netsters had a fairly successful season. Sending six players to regional competition was the culmination of the year. Although none of the players advanced, the experience was, hopefully, enough to whet the appetite for more success during the 2006-07 season. Some experienced players like Jermaine Newman and Antreknesha Walker have been lost to graduation, but returnees plan to take their game to a higher level next year in hopes of having a more successful season.
