Philosophy of the Discipline Plan
Our teachers have the right to teach and our students have the right to learn in a classroom free from disruptive behavior.
Intent of the Discipline Plan
The educational purpose of this school is accomplished best in a climate of student behavior that is socially accepted and conducive to the learning and teaching process. Student behavior which disrupts this process or which infringes upon the rights of other students cannot and will not be tolerated. Therefore, the intent of our discipline plan is to provide a safe and nurturing educational environment for all children. In any disciplinary action taken by this school, every effort will be made to safeguard the constitutional rights of students and parents through observance of due process.
Code of Conduct at MJF Elementary
Students will attend all classes, arriving on time and bringing necessary materials.
Students will walk orderly and quietly from one area to another.
Student will treat themselves and others in their environment with respect.
Students will cooperate with all school staff (administrators, teachers, aids, custodians).
Students will dress appropriately for school.
Students will not use profanity or racial slurs. These will not be tolerated!
Students will not harass or bully others. Harassment & bullying will not be tolerated!
