CC:  Students compare/contrast a character's traits to their own. They make a character - comparison chart and use the information to create a one- to two-page dialogue portraying a discussion between the student and the character, with the student advising the story character on how he/she would handle problems or conflicts in the story.

Use Kidspiration software template to gather traits for character.
