Activity 16: Student Meteorologists (GLEs:  36, 37)

CC:  Ask students, individually or in small groups, to select a city of their choice. Using the newspaper or the Internet, have them track daily temperatures for a one-week period. Using the data they collected, have students create charts of high and low temperatures, calculate the mean temperatures, plot data (high and low temperatures) on a line graph, and display results. Have groups present oral reports of their findings or display their findings on a thematic bulletin board.
