Activity 5: A Remainder of One (GLEs: 10, 11)

CC:  Supply manipulatives and allow students to recreate the corresponding groups of ants from the book, A Remainder of One by Elinor Penczes, as it is read. Have them predict what will happen and give an estimated answer for the solution before using the manipulatives to prove the results.

Use MS Word to make paper bug manipulatives.
