Unit 5:  Dividing by 1-Digit Divisors

Activity 8:  Candy Division (GLEs:  15, 16)

CC: Use candy bars that are already evenly divided (e.g., Hershey bar, Tootsie Roll, etc.) to reinforce division. Assign a certain number of bars to various groups. Have students create word problems based on the scenario.

Use MS Word to create a worksheet using candy bars.
