Activity 4:  Baking Areas (GLE: 26)

CC: Have students use grid paper and cookie cutters to draw an outline of a variety of cookies. counting the whole square units and the partial units to determine the area of the cookie to frost.

Use MS Word to create cookie cutter shapes for the activity.  Print shapes on heavy cardstock, cut out shapes and distribute to students.
