CC:  Show students an aerial view of an area in Louisiana.

CC:  Have students research the following about the country under study: population (if possible a breakdown by age groups), major language(s) spoken, major landforms, major bodies of water, climate, and economic information such as people to cars and people to televisions.

CC:  Ask them to present a PowerPoint with graphs, charts, and tables displaying the information resulting from their research.

 

Use MS PowerPoint to create a visual presentation of  student research.

Students could create a slide presentation of their research findings.

This PowerPoint can be shown to students as a model of the presentation they will create. Prior knowledge needed would include creating charts and tables and inserting graphics into PowerPoint slides.

 

CC:  Prepare and distribute a table such as the one below. As one partnership presents, have students in the remaining three partnerships complete the following table remembering to record the information from their own country as well.
