CC: Focus on one of the regions (begin with the southeast since they will recognize this as the region in which Louisiana belongs), and have students locate and label their maps for that particular region. Explain that they will be adding information to their individual outline maps as the year progresses. Each week add another region and focus on that particular region for the week, building on previous learning.
