CC:  Assign each pair one of the places generated on the list by the students. Using the maps and atlases as resources, each pair should locate information specific to its assigned landform, body of water, or waterway (e.g., the distance covered by the Rocky Mountain range, the height of the highest peak in the Rocky Mountain range, the depth of each of the Great Lakes, the length of the Mississippi River). Additionally, they should identify the type of climate, the vegetation, natural resources, and the land use surrounding the landform, body of water or waterway.
