Activity 1: Culture and Our National Heritage (GLE: 62)

CC: To introduce this concept of culture have students create a graphic organizer of inventions, events, music, clothing fashions, etc. that would reflect the time period in which they have lived.

Use MS Word to create a graphic organizer for the assigned decade.

Word template - "Time Period"

CC:  Create a timeline with students that highlights life in the United States, from the years 1960 through 2010. 

Use Timeliner software to create the timeline.
