CC:  Ask students to use a graphic organizer to list advantages and disadvantages of being a colonist prior to the American Revolution. As a class have them create a comparison chart. In the left column titled "Advantages", list such things as "protected by the British Army." In the right column titled 'Disadvantages", list such things as "taxed to pay for protection."

Use MS Word to create the comparison chart.
