Use MS Word to create the Venn diagram to compare/contrast two authors. Word template - "Comparing Mystery Authors - Venn Diagram"
CC: Students will research (via library resources or Internet) authors' biographies and create simple biographical index cards, (e.g., author, bio summary, books written, photo/drawing). Students will create author trading cards. Students will use the Louisiana Intech website, http://www.louisianaschools.net/lde/intech/7_12/day2/tradingcard_template.htm, to access How to Create a Trading Card Template in Microsoft Word and an Assessment Rubric that can be adapted for author cards.
Use MS Word to create Teacher Notes for introducing the biographical index cards, instructions for creating an author trading card, a sample author trading card, and a trading card template.
