CC: In small groups, students will choose selections from a class-generated list of humorous stories, essays, and poems to read.
Use Inspiration software to generate class list.
CC: Students will construct/complete graphic organizers (e.g., story map, character trait map, plot summary chart) that address character types, conflicts, points of view, and themes.
