CC: Students will use vocabulary graphic organizers (Frayer model, concept definition map, linear array, word maps) to define words specific to selections read.
Use MS Word or Inspiration software to create a graphic organizer for new vocabulary words in this unit. Word template - "Vocabulary" (vocabulary chart) Word template - "Vocabulary - 2" (Frayer model) Inspiration template - "Word Map" (This word map offers a more in-depth study of a word.)
