CC: In lieu of a whole-class novel, the teacher may organize Literature Circles as this allows more choice for students.

In lieu of a whole-class novel, the teacher may organize Literature Circles as this allows more choice for students. In either case, Activities 5 - 9 should occur as the novel(s) are read since the development of fiction elements is essential in a novel study.
