CC: Initially, have the students create and label two parallel timelines denoting major events between the years of 1600 and 1812 that are pertinent to the unit.
Use Timeliner software to create the timelines.
CC: After the timelines are constructed have the students collaborate to complete a graphic organizer (question and answer chart) to determine connections among events and the influences those events had on the migration of the Acadians.
