Activity 4:  Panel Discussion (GLEs:  12, 66, 72, 73)

 

CC:  First, have students construct a chart to display the requirements that Louisiana had to meet to become a state.

 

Students can use MS Word to create a chart to display state requirements to be admitted to the Union.

 

CC:  Third, create a class timeline of the dates and events denoting Louisiana's acceptance of statehood.

 

Use Timeliner software to create the class timeline of dates and events.
