Mission Statement

The mission of Wossman High School is to provide the opportunity for all students to succeed academically while preparing them for the world of work and lifelong learning.

Admission Policy

Documentation needed for students from any other school within the school system or outside the Monroe City School System is as follows:

1. Parent's proof of address (utility bill, rent, or lease deposit slip)

2. Parent's ID (official ID or driver's license)

3. Copy of the birth certificate

4. Drop slip from previous school

5. Social security card

To accept any student living with someone other than the parent, legal documentation of adoption or guardianship must be presented.

Transfer Policy

Any parent who withdraws his/her child from Wossman High School to attend another school must notify the school in advance so that materials can be gathered and records can be completed. The parent must pay any balance on the student's account, and the student must return all textbooks.

NOTE: The cumulative records will be mailed directly to the school to which the student is transferring. They will not be given directly to the parent or the student.
