The faculty and staff of Carroll High strive to provide students with a rigorous academic core and a variety of elective options.  Most faculty members share a common planning period with their department members or with fellow teachers who have commonalities within their teaching assignments.

Students desirous of ECHO (Extra Credit Help Opportunities) may take courses for Carnegie units and/or dual enrollment credit (if qualifications are met) through the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Lousiiana Delta Community College, Louisiana Virtual School, and Northwestern State University.

Those students who need to reclaim credits may (with parent, counselor, and administrative approval) participate in Credit Recovery which is held every day after school and on Saturdays.
