Foundation for the Future

Building Today for Tomorrow

The Monroe City School District is committed to excellence in teaching and learning. We hold high expectations for all students, parents, and staff. We share, with our community, the responsibility for providing a safe, caring environment designed to help students become productive citizens. We pledge all available resources to help prepare students to live and work in a rapidly changing, technological society.

Chromebook Responsible User Agreement

Every Monroe City School student has access to an assigned Chromebook.  Please take a moment to review the Chromebook Responsible Use Agreement policy here.  This also has the opportunity to provide insurance coverage on this agreement.  Once again, please review the policy and make a selection to opt in or opt out of the coverage and return the form to the assigning school ASAP.

Parent Feedback Requested

Parents, please take a few minutes to fill out the Monroe City Schools Parent and Community Feedback on 2021-22 Academic Recovery & Acceleration Plan.  This will allow Monroe City Schools to continue to make informed decisions regarding programs moving forward.  Please, complete the form as soon as possible.

New P-EBT Resources

On July 13, the DCFS launched a new P-EBT Online Parent Portal.  The portal allows parents to view their child's P-EBT case.  Information submitted by the schools (name, date of birth, local student ID, school name, zip code, benefit amounts, and learning mode) are included within the portal once benefits are processed.  There are a video and instructions available on how to register, access, and navigate the portal.
